Acting on the evidence
There are 3 key questions to ask prior to acting:
- What are we trying to
accomplish?
- What changes can we make?
- How will we know that this is
an improvement ?
Acting on the evidence is a four step process:
- Plan
- Do
- Study
- Act
It is also iterative.
The goal is to implement the best clinical evidence, and using clinical judgment, determine whether it improves care in your practice.
