Best Clinical EvidenceActing on the evidence

There are 3 key questions to ask prior to acting:

  1. What are we trying to accomplish?
  2. What changes can we make?
  3. How will we know that this is an improvement ?

Acting on the evidence is a four step process:

  1. Plan
  2. Do
  3. Study
  4. Act

It is also iterative.

The goal is to implement the best clinical evidence, and using clinical judgment, determine whether it improves care in your practice.
